Features

Incoming Calls
All incoming calls during the day and night are FREE!

Outbound Calls
All outbound calls are charged at a rate of one Anytime Minute for each minute of use, plus a charge of one additional Anytime Minute per outbound call to offset the minutes used but not paid for, regardless of the time of day or day of the week.

Domestic Long Distance
Domestic long distance is included and is charged at a rate of one Anytime Minute for each minute of use, plus a charge of one additional Anytime Minute per outbound call to offset the minutes used but not paid for. Domestic long distance areas include all 50 US States, Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan and the US Virgin Islands.

Roaming
On network roaming for outbound calls is charged at a rate of one Anytime Minute for each minute of use, plus a charge of one additional Anytime Minute per outbound call to offset the cost of minutes used but not paid for. Roaming off network (see coverage map) is generally not available. If it is available, users will be charged at a rate of three Anytime Minutes per one minute of use plus a charge of one additional Anytime Minute per outbound call plus a charge of one additional Anytime Minute per outbound call to offset the minutes used but not paid for.

Text Messaging
Inbound text messaging is available and is charged at a rate of one Anytime Minute for each message received. Outbound text messaging is available on selected GSM phones only and is charged at a rate of one Anytime Minute for each message sent.

Call Waiting/3-Way Calling
Refer to your phone owner’s manual for the proper operation of these functions. If you do not answer the second call within a few seconds of being notified, the call will be sent to voicemail (if voicemail is set up).

International Long Distance
Generally, international long distance is not available. Calls made to areas other than those included with domestic long distance will be charged at the rate of 40 Anytime Minutes per each minute of use plus a charge of one Anytime Minute per call to offset the cost of minutes used but not paid for. Calls made to Canada will be charged at the rate of nine Anytime Minutes per each minute of use plus a charge of one Anytime Minute per call to offset the cost of minutes used but not paid for. Calls made to the Caribbean will be charged at a rate of 25 Anytime Minutes for each minute of use plus a charge of one Anytime Minute per call.

411 Directory Assistance
411 directory assistance is available and is charged a fixed rate of 16 Anytime Minutes plus one Anytime Minute for each minute of use plus an additional charge of one Anytime Minute per call to offset the cost of minutes used but not paid for. Note: If operator assistance is used (by dialing “0”), each call is charged at a rate of 100 Anytime Minutes for each minute of use plus an additional charge of one Anytime Minute per call to offset the cost of minutes used but not paid for.

Voicemail

For most GSM Phones
To set up your voicemail for the first time you must dial your wireless phone number from your wireless phone and simply follow the prompts. (Weekday calling charges apply.)

For most CDMA Phones
You must use your wireless phone to set up your voicemail for the first time.

  1. Press and hold envelope key (if not available press and hold the “1” key, or call your 10-digit wireless number) until you see... “Connecting to Voicemail.” You will receive prompt: “Welcome to Voicemail. Since this is the first time you have used this service, please take a minute to set up your mailbox. This will be quick and easy.”
  2. Create a password using four to ten digits.
  3. Follow the prompts to record a name announcement.
  4. Follow the prompts to record your personal greeting or select the standard greeting.
  5. Turn One-Touch Access “ON” or “OFF.”
  6. Before leaving the mailbox set up menu, the voicemail system will remind you of your new password.

Retrieving voicemail messages from your wireless phone.

  1. Press and hold envelope key until the phone indicates “Connecting to Voicemail” (no airtime is charged).
  2. Enter your password.
  3. Follow prompts to retrieve messages.

Retrieving voicemail from any other phone.

  1. Dial the wireless phone number (no airtime is charged).
  2. Press the * key when prompted.
  3. Enter password when prompted.
  4. Follow prompts to retrieve messages.

Airtime Balance Check
To check your approximate airtime balance and account status:

You can dial *611, #611, 611, or #746 from your wireless phone (airtime may be charged) or you can dial 1-866-843-9047 from any phone. When prompted, enter your 10-digit wireless number.
